Dr. Dee Stephenson looks at patient’s eye through slit lamp. Doctor pulls lid temporally with cotton swab. Pull lid temporally. Doctor picks up dilator from instrument tray. Dilate punctum thoroughly for depth and diameter. Doctor picks up clean cotton swab from instrument tray. Using two cotton swabs, doctor proceeds to dry punctal area. Doctor take DEXTENZA out of foam holder using forceps. Insert DEXTENZA nasally using forceps and pulling lid temporally with cotton swab. Visualization of the insert using yellow filter and blue light. DEXTENZA® (dexamethasone ophthalmic insert) 0.4 mg.
